Today, 21st November 2017, is the day that marks the official commencement of "SKILLS TO SUCCESS 2017", as the official website for registration was launched by 9:00am this morning.
"SKILLS TO SUCCESS 2017" (STS ’17) is a Nationwide Skill Acquisition Program put together by Modern Small Scale Multipurpose Ltd in conjunction with Darolls Support Initiative to help the less privileged Nigerians by training them in over 100 vocational skills, free of charge. This program is targeting about 8.88million Nigerians in all the 36 States of the Federation, including the FCT.
Our aim is basically to help 8.88 million out of the 60 million Nigerians who are unemployed and underemployed, thereby becoming over-dependent, to become self-employed and self-reliant, cleaning up the streets of Nigeria of mediocrity.
In order to achieve this, we have created a network of various international organizations, loan procurement organizations, commercial and micro-finance banks, and reputable individuals, to help bring this dream to a reality. However, our official banker is First Bank.
